Beauty Buys That Support Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) month. This year, over 250,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer*, as well as more than 60,000 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer, are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S. Breast cancer rates have been dropping since the year 2000, but clearly there is still a lot of work to be done before we find a cure. During the month of October, many brands will contribute a portion of sales to organizations that build awareness about breast cancer and/or fund research to find a cure. Below are some of our favorite BCA beauty products that are contributing towards to the cause.

1. Bobbi Brown Pink Peony Illuminating Bronzing Powder Set ($55) – With each purchase of the Peony Set, Bobbi Brown will donate $11 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

2. ELEMIS Breast Cancer Care Limited Edition Pro-Collagen Marine Cream ($160) – ELEMIS is pledging to donate £25,000 to Breast Cancer Care from sales of this limited edition product.

3. jane iredale Magic Mitt ($15) – All profits go to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national education and support group.

4. jane iredale Smell the Roses Hydration Spray ($30) – This limited edition hydration spray was developed by Jane exclusively for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, which receives 100% of profits from sales.
