Must-Have Travel Beauty Products

I have well documented my husband’s obsession with traveling light here on the blog. Every time we are about to depart on a new voyage, whether it is a long weekend or 3 weeks away, I get the very polite lecture about how I really should learn how to travel with just a carry-on, how much time we can save, yadda, yadda, yadda.. Our dueling obsessions – his traveling with minimal clothes and provisions and mine, traveling with a closet full up beauty products struggle to peacefully co-exist. While we continue to find a way for Below are the products that will definitely be part of my carry-on when my family and I depart on our holiday in Italy.

Clarisonic MiaFit ($219) – My go-to for smooth, glowing skin, the MiaFit has a permanent spot in my travel bag. Nightly makeup removal and cleansing is a breeze with this power-packed (yet compact) cleansing tool.

CoverFX Perfect Pencil ($20) – I typically carry this pencil in two shades. One lighter shade for highlighting brows, etc. and another closer to my skin tone for concealing. The very fine tip means its capable of concealing even the tiniest of imperfections.

DECLEOR Aromessence Neroli Hydrating Night Balm ($42) – I have found that when my skin is not well-hydrated, it is a slippery slope into other skin issue (breakouts, irritation). This night balm is the answer. Apply some to your face and by morning, your skin is hydrated and glowing.

Dove Dry Spray ($7) – With 48 hour protection, I don’t have to worry about perspiration while sightseeing from dawn to dusk and beyond.

HONEST Beauty Magic Balm ($18) – Just what you need when traveling, a product that can be used for multiple purposes. This truly magic product can be used on dry lips, irritated skin, scraggly cuticles – anywhere in need of some calming, smoothing and hydrating goodness.

jane iredale D20 Hydration Mini Spray ($10) – This perfectly petite spray bottle has the power to re-hydrate thirsty skin and provide a needed pick-me-up in just a spritz or two. #secretweapon

jane iredale Eyebrow Pencil ($20) – Even I wear minimal makeup, I try to fill-in my brows, this superfine point on this pencil, make it easy to create great-looking, but not overly done brows.

Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum ($60) – I can’t leave home without this, period. Helps keep my skin even and keeps hyperpigmentation at bay.

Orlane Cream Blush Sun Glow Stick (€20) – Perfect for adding a bit of healthy glow to your face while on the go. It’s blends in easily and is universally flattering. Plus, as with other Orlane cosmetics, it’s like having a mini treatment with a side benefit of gorgeous color.

Votre Vu Bebe Duette ($18) – The ultimate multi-tasker, this includes a rich hand creme, as well as a moisturizing lip balm and mirror all in-in-one.
