My skin gets hyperpigmented very easily. A brief bout with acne, an afternoon in the sun or a minor reaction to a skincare product that I am testing can set me on a path 8+ weeks long to clear up the resulting hyperpigmentation. Up to this point, I have relied primarily on a prescription topical lotion that I got from my dermatologist’s office. I typically have zero success with over the counter lightening products.
After I started using Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum, I noticed that my dark spots had noticeably lightened within a week. It’s 2% hydroquinone formula works even more quickly than my doctor prescribed (and pricey) kojic acid lotion. Even better, I can use the Murad Serum during the daytime (under sunscreen, of course) to help prevent further hyperpigmentation. In the evening, I layer it under Murad Essential-C Night Moisture for the perfect one-two hyperpigmentation knock-out punch . My skin hasn’t looked so clear, bright and even in as long as I can remember.
