After hearing some good feedback, I decided to dip my toe into the Viviscal pool last month. Not knowing what to expect, plus not wanting to take any additional supplements on top of the 5+ horse pill-sized vitamins that I already take, I was dubious. I decided that I would give it a try for 60 days. This is my first update at the halfway point and I have to say, I’m hooked!
The average growth rate for hair is a half-inch per month. When I started the trial 30 days ago, my hair was 4 inches below my left earlobe. Upon measuring the same lock of hair today, it is 5 1/2 inches past my earlobe – growth of 1 1/2 inches! In addition to having growth three times the typical rate, my hair seems to be a bit thicker. I have periodic bouts with small patches of stress-induced alopecia over the past several years. Although I go to a Dermatologist and receive corticosteroid injections to help restart the hair growth, I have found that it appears to be re-growing more quickly since I started taking Viviscal.
