In my book, great beauty tools are just as important as great products in achieving the perfect hair style. I was recently introduced to the ghd Pink Cherry Blossom Styler and I wouldn’t be exaggerating to say – it was love at first pass.
Before trying the ghd Styler I had a perfectly competent flat iron that worked well enough. I was admittedly skeptical when I saw that the ghd Styler did not have a temperature gauge. I typically like to crank up my flat iron to 425 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure that it is hot enough to smooth my hair. However, there was nothing to worry about, with the ghd Styler’s advanced ceramic technology, it easily smoothed my hair leaving it shiny and healthy looking and feeling without the excess heat used by my old flat iron.
The ghd Styler has an audible beep that sounds when it is turned on, when it is fully heated and when it is going into sleep mode (due to 30 minutes of non-use).
How cute is the satin heat-resistant case that comes with the styler?
Most importantly, since it has a rounded edge, I was able to achieve my currently preferred curly (AKA my hair is in dire need of a cut and has no shape, so I can’t wear it straight) style perfectly and without the telltale crimp that is typically left when using a flat iron.
