Lets be clear, I’m pretty much a Target collaboration junkie. Yes, I still have my Proenza Schouler for Target white pants, my daughter has an entire section of her closet full of Missoni for Target, and I trekked to east nowhere to scout out a few pieces of Jason Wu for Target. Having said that, I wasn’t super excited for the COS BAR at Target collection. For one, I wasn’t familiar with COS BAR, plus as I’ve mentioned many times before, I’m a bit of a scent snob. I’m super picky about the fragrances I choose – nothing too musky, nothing so floral that I smell like I’m twelve and nothing too spicy. I’m just as picky when it comes to the scent of my beauty products, I’ve been known to discard perfectly good products solely because the scent wasn’t appealing to me.
However, I was pleasantly surprised. The Blueberry White Tea Hand and Body Wash has a wonderful musk-like scent with a touch of floral that is somewhat reminiscent of Molton Brown’s Black Pepper Wash. It also lathered up well without having to use too much product. And at $6 it just may be worthy of a stock up before the Shops at Target collaborations fade away.
