Once I got over the hump with a little “help” from some pain medication, I started feeling back to normal. Over the past two weeks, the swelling has completely subsided and I’m starting to see some results. Not only am I able to button my pants once again (thank goodness), but my formerly poochy stomach is starting to look less poochy. My stomach area is still numb. However, this was expected. I was told it may be numb for up to 8 weeks and truth be told it doesn’t bother me at all.
Although, I’m not supposed to see the final results for another couple of months, I’m already feeling more confident with the way my belly area looks. So much so that I’m toying with the idea of wearing a bathing suit over the upcoming Memorial Day weekend – something I haven’t considered in at least two years. I’m finally at the point where I can say that I’m glad I had the CoolSculpting treatment (I was a bit concerned for the first few days!) and I’m really looking forward to my final results.
I’ll be sure to share photos of dramatic change!
Disclaimer: The CoolSculpting treatment was performed free of charge by my personal cosmetic surgeon’s office, Plastic Surgery Arts. Ageist Beauty will not be compensated by them in any manner, other than receiving the CoolSculpting treatment. This post (and the ensuing posts on the procedure) represent my true and honest opinion.
