Ageist Beauty’s Paris Beauty Finds

Last week, I went to Paris on business. Of course, for me, no trip to Paris is complete without a visit to a local “pharmacie” to pick-up some Parisian beauty products. Here are some of the products I picked up while there.

Bioderma Crealine Fort Creme (€15,60)

Soothing and restorative  cream for skin with temporary redness due to hair removal, dermatological products or treatments, etc.)  I often will get a bit red around my nose if I have been a bit too aggressive with peels or retinoid products, so I’m hoping this product holds the magic cure.

Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse OR (€24,00)

Multi-use dry oil for use on your body or hair. Vitamin E and other oils hydrate skin, while the gold particles in the oil leave you with a gorgeous glow.

Caudalie The des Vignes Shower Gel (€9,10)

The shower companion to the amazing The des Vignes scent that we obsessed over last year. The The des Vignes scent  has warming, sensual notes ginger, neroli, and white musk.

Tip: There is a duty-free pharmacie on the lower-level (one level below the main check-in level) of Terminal 1 at CDG. They have all of the great French brands we love like Caudalie, Nuxe, Bioderma, Avene, etc. and many more we can’t wait to discover. For those of us Newark-bound United passengers (and others) relegated to the worst terminal at CDG, there is at least one good reason to arrive extra early at the airport!
