As I mentioned in the post for my first resolution for 2012, I actually eat pretty healthily and take regular BarreAmped classes at my local exercise studio. However, with age it is clearly much more difficult for me to lose weight and maintain weight loss.
As a result of my regular BarreAmped classes, my core is pretty strong and I have a good amount of lean muscle. Unfortunately, it is hidden under a layer of cookie, croissant and cake-fueled fat. So, my resolution is to infuse more cardio into my exercise routine – even though I absolutely abhor it.
I’m choosing to think of it as a little Zumba to help me slip into my Zadig & Voltaire and some running to help me rock that Rodarte. Are there any other cardio-phobes out that willing to take the challenge with me?
