Since the most recent Lucky FABB conference in September, I have been mildly obsessed with all things Diane von Furstenberg. I’ve always thought of her as an “Ageist Beauty icon”, but she was even more lovely, down-to-earth, and warm in person.
One of my favorite moments of her talk was when she walked us through everything she was wearing that day. She mentioned that she was wearing nude fishnets since she is “too old” to sport bare legs. I disagree – she has amazing legs! Nonetheless, I love this idea and have gone from only wearing black opaque tights to becoming a bit of a hosiery-phile (new word?) ever since.
Enter Philippe Matignon, maker of luxury Italian hosiery. From their Joli Pari thigh-high (above) that can be worn oh so chic pushed down over the knee to their Retina Collant stretch micro fishnet tights (below), I am sufficiently smitten with their super comfortable, beautiful hosiery.
