As you already know we are fairly (ok, majorly) obsessed with all things anti-aging. So, I was very excited to try Bite Beauty’s anti-aging lip products. Bite Beauty is the first lipstick line created that has Red Resveratrol. Resveratrol is the health-boosting component that is found in red wine, the skin of red grapes and in other fruits. Each tube of Bite Beauty lipstick contains 5 mg of Resveratrol, the antioxidant equivalent of 5 glasses of red wine.
I tried the Luminous Crème Lipstick in Zin and Mulberry. The lipsticks are made with organic shea and fruit butters so they don’t have the petroleum taste and drying feeling that many lipsticks have. They feel like a very soft, hydrating lip balm, but with amazing lushly pigmented, long-lasting color. I was able to wear the “Zin” shade for 4+ hours before reapplying. All of the colorants used in Bite’s lipsticks are food grade and made with natural ingredients. Additionally, several of Bite’s products contain concentrated “super fruits” such as acai, cranberry, blueberry, and pomegranate. So, you can have soft, richly-colored lips and, in theory, eat them too!
I also love the modern, matte black packaging. Its unique shape makes it easy to find at the bottom of my overloaded handbag!
Bite Beauty’s Luminous Crème Lipstick comes in 21 shades from “Cava”, a soft petal pink, to “Cin Cin”, a spicy pumpkin color, to “Cassis”, a deep burgundy.
