I was recently invited to join Influenster. Don’t know what that is? Neither did I. Influenster is a community of “trendsetters” invited to share their lifestyles and show their influence to qualify for opportunities to try cool products, earn rewards, and take advantage of deals.
I figured what the heck, I love to try new products, social media, and sharing info on brands and products I love. I recently received my first “VoxBox” from Influenster. VoxBoxes are themed packages of products sent to select Influensters. Since my interest is in all things beauty-related, I received a beauty-themed VoxBox. I didn’t think there would really be anything to share on Ageist Beauty, but I was wrong!
My VoxBox had items such as a Diamancel foot file and a complete skincare kit from Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty, among other goodies. So far, I have tried an Anti-Aging Lip Treatment from Garden Botanika and a Green Tea Peel-Off Masque from Montagne Jeunesse. Surprisingly, I LOVE both products. Of course, the Garden Botanika lip treatment appeals to me because it is anti-aging. I also like that it is clear, not sticky, and unscented. It leaves a very light sheen on your lips that is perfect as an overnight treatment or as a primer underneath lipstick.
The Montagne Jeunesse masque instantly gave a me a nostalgic feeling. I haven’t used a peel-off masque since I was maybe 15 (many, many years ago). I didn’t even know they still made them! At first, the scent was a bit too floral and strong, but as it dried the scent subsided significantly. The masque peeled off very easily and left my skin amazingly smooth and bright. Can’t wait to test out the other products in my VoxBox!
